Embroidered Shirt / Cobalt Blue Details / Wide Brim Hat

Hello all!
I love how the boldness of the blue and the softness of the cream patterns embroidered into this shirt compliment each other so beautifully. It's also scattered with other lovely little details; like the gold & white buttons on the cuffs and how the pattern flows over the back of the shirt as well as the front. I also seem to be wearing these earrings non-stop, I don't want to bore you by showing you the same things more than once in a short period of time, but I think it's nice for you to see what I'm actually wearing. You'll also notice I got Teddy the Toy Poodle involved too - he was groomed not too long ago so I thought it'd be a perfect time for him to make a little cameo!

Lace Cap Sleeve Dress / White Heeled Sandals / Giant Hair Bow

Hello all!
Truly, I must have attempted to photograph this dress at least 4 times and every single time I stepped outside, it began to rain. I managed to snap these on two occasions and you'll probably notice a small amount of inconsistency; I forgot which earrings I originally wore, so you have a selection of two pairs to admire... lets pretend I did that deliberately for variety. Of course.
I'm so happy with this Motel cap sleeve lace dress because the low back is cut perfectly, which means you can still wear a bra with it. I can't begin to tell you the number of times I've spotted a beautiful dress only to turn it around and find it's totally backless. So, in my opinion the design of this dress is utter genius. I'll definitely be wearing this dress whilst I'm in Paris in July. Let me know your thoughts on the backless/braless situation - maybe I should just be braver...

P.S. How adorable is this giant red hair bow from Rock N' Rose? I feel like a Disney Princess or a birthday present!

Pink Boucle Jacket / Oversized Bow Blouse / Organza Lace Skirt

Hello all!
I really feel like this is one of my favourite outfit posts I've ever shared with you; I'm so pleased with how it turned out and as you can see, I'm back in my favourite outfit-photographing location in South Kensington, London, where I spent the afternoon sitting at a street cafe eating chocolate crepes and drinking iced tea (insert emoji pig face here). Despite the fact that I don't smile too much on my blog (because I look like a little squirrel storing acorns in my cheeks for the winter) I'm actually a very happy, smiley person and I'm particularly happy at the moment.
I really love this pink and white colour combination, although the only minor complaint I have about the skirt is that it's one of those that just doesn't like to stay put when you sit down. Do you know what I'm getting at? It seemed to just voluntarily flash people when I sat down, resulting in the 'handbag on the lap' move which isn't too practical in most situations. I might forgive its behaviour for being so pretty... wouldn't you?

I actually wore this very same jacket and blouse combination in a previous outfit post whilst it was snowing, which I'll link here. I always find it inspiring to see how someone uses the same pieces in different temperates/weather conditions!

Vintage Ruched Shoulder 'Betty D' Dress / Chanel Earrings

Hello all!
I can truly say I have never been so happy with an online purchase; nicknamed the 'Betty D' dress after 60's siren Betty Draper from Mad Men, I couldn't be more delighted to add this vintage piece from 'Girl Stole' to my wardrobe. I'm usually sceptical about vintage dresses and never bother even trying them on, so buying one online was quite a leap. So, when I saw the measurements of this dress 'waist: 24inches' (my measurement!) I basically became a seagull from Finding Nemo. Mine... mineminemine. I honestly think this dress is so beautiful that if I'd seen it on a stranger and they'd told me it was vintage Chanel, I would have believed them without a doubt.
